This Privacy Policy applies to Silver Glider Events and all related products and services offered by Silver Glider Entertainment Inc., including ticketing, RSVPs, registrations, guest lists, waitlists, invitations, reservations, messaging, The Silver Glider Line, and services previously offered under the Silver Glider Tickets name (collectively, the “Platform”). Ticketing is part of Silver Glider Events and is not treated as a separate platform under this Privacy Policy.

Methods of processing

Silver Glider Entertainment Inc. takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data. Processing is carried out using computers and IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures strictly related to the purposes indicated.

Place

The Data is processed at the Owner's operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located. Depending on your location, data transfers may involve transferring your Data to a country other than your own.

Retention time

Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose for which it was collected and may be retained for longer due to applicable legal obligation or based on the Users' consent.

Paid Event Access transaction records are retained for a minimum of 7 years for accounting and legal compliance purposes. Event host application data is retained for the duration of the host relationship plus 3 years.

The Data concerning the User is collected to allow Silver Glider Entertainment Inc. to provide the Platform, comply with its legal obligations, respond to enforcement requests, protect its rights and interests, detect any malicious or fraudulent activity, as well as the following:

Issuing digital tickets and managing RSVPs, registrations, guest lists, waitlists, invitations, and reservations
Registration and authentication
Hosting and backend infrastructure

Managing follower relationships between fans and hosts

The Platform enables Hosts to create, promote, and manage Events and allows users to discover, RSVP to, register for, and attend Events.

Detailed Information on the Processing of Personal Data

Handling and Facilitating Payments for Event Access

Silver Glider Events facilitates transactions for Tickets and other paid Event Access between attendees and Hosts. Hosts who publish Events on Silver Glider Events act as the merchant of record for their respective sales of paid Event Access. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. on behalf of the Host. When you purchase Event Access, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe. Silver Glider Events receives transaction confirmation and associated Personal Data including your name, email address, and purchase details solely for issuing or managing Event Access, maintaining your account, and facilitating the transaction between you and the Host.

Hosts may use third-party ticket providers for Tickets or other Event Access. Purchases and registrations made through those providers are governed by the applicable third party’s terms and privacy policy. Those providers independently determine how they process Personal Data, and Silver Glider Events receives such Data only when it is shared with the Platform or needed to provide connected services.

Event Access, Ticket Issuance, and Activity History

When you purchase a Ticket, RSVP, register, join a guest list or waitlist, accept an invitation, or make a reservation through Silver Glider Events, an Event Access record is generated. That record may include your name, email address, participation status, Event details, and account association. The Host will have access to relevant information for guest list management, event entry, attendee communication, and administration of the Event. Silver Glider Events retains paid Event Access purchase history for a minimum of 7 years for accounting, legal compliance, and customer service purposes.

In the event of a refund or chargeback for paid Event Access, your transaction data may be shared between Silver Glider Events, the Host, Stripe, and any applicable third-party provider to process and resolve the transaction.

Event Host Application Data

When you submit a Request Access application to become an event host on Silver Glider Events, we collect your first name, last name, email address, venue or project name, city, and optionally your website or Instagram URL and a description of your shows. This data is used solely to review and process your application. Approved host application data is retained for the duration of the host relationship plus 3 years. Declined application data is retained for 12 months.

Public Host Profiles

When a host account is approved, a public profile is created on Silver Glider Events. This profile may include the host's name, venue or project name, city, and event listings. This information is publicly visible to all users of the platform. To request removal or modification of public profile information, contact contact@silverglidertickets.com.

Follower Relationships

Fans on Silver Glider Events may follow public profiles of artists, venues, and promoters. Following a public profile is a public action. Event hosts can see the number of followers on their profile. Individual follower identities are not publicly displayed but may be accessible to the host for the purposes of notifying followers of new events. Users may unfollow a profile at any time through their account settings.

SMS Communications and The Silver Glider Line

Silver Glider Events operates a telephone service called The Silver Glider Line (+1 (844) 261-6758) which provides a weekly recorded message featuring upcoming shows and events. No personal data is collected through inbound calls to The Silver Glider Line.

If you provide your phone number and consent to receive SMS communications from Silver Glider Events, you agree to receive text messages related to RSVP confirmations, reminders, event updates, Host announcements, event recommendations, ticket announcements, venue updates, presale alerts, platform updates, and promotional communications. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message. For help, reply HELP or contact contact@silverglidertickets.com. Silver Glider Entertainment Inc. will not share your phone number with third parties for marketing purposes without your explicit consent.

SMS consent is not a condition of obtaining Event Access or using the Platform.

Weekly Event Drop Email Subscription

Silver Glider Events offers a weekly email drop featuring upcoming shows in your city (San Francisco or Los Angeles). When you subscribe, we collect your email address and city preference. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting contact@silverglidertickets.com. Your email address will be removed from the subscription list within 10 business days of your request.

Silver Glider Events uses Trackers including Cookies. Cookies are small sets of data stored in the User's browser used to track usage, maintain sessions, and improve the service. Users may control cookie preferences through their browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features of the platform.

Silver Glider Events may offer users the opportunity to receive recurring SMS and MMS messages regarding RSVP confirmations, reminders, event updates, Host announcements, event recommendations, ticket announcements, venue updates, presale alerts, promotional offers, and other event-related communications.

Users may opt in to receive SMS communications through approved opt-in methods, including website signup forms and keyword-based SMS opt-in campaigns.

By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from Silver Glider Events at the phone number provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
